Welcome to the naturalist blog for Vashon Nature Center. We are pleased to announce that Vashon Nature Center is now open to the public. To celebrate the grand opening of Vashon Nature Center we are selling the first edition of Family Walks on Vashon!  This is a naturalist family walking guide to Vashon and Maury Islands. 10% of the profits for this book will go to Vashon Maury Island Land Trust as a thank you to all the hard work they have done in putting together a vitally important nature preserve network on the island.
